What’s Included

• Plaster statue (small to medium designs, 10–25cm)
• All painting supplies (paints, brushes, apron, decorations) and cleaning
• Carry bag or box
• One drink per person* (coffee, matcha, milkshake, juice, etc.)
*Kids under 7 receive a kid-size drink (milkshake or juice only). Alcohol available for adults at additional cost (Thornbury only)

Food is not included, but can be organised:

• Sandwiches, salads, fried snacks, chips
• Party pies and sausage rolls
• Fruit platters
Most groups spend around $10–$20 per person on food, depending on selection.

Booking Terms

• Available daily between 2.30pm–6pm*.
• 2 weeks’ notice required
• A $100 deposit is required to secure your booking
• A 10% surcharge applies on weekends
• A 15% surcharge applies for evening bookings (5pm–9pm)
• Cakeage: $14.50 per cake (including cutting, serving, cutlery)
• Deposits are non-refundable within 7 days of the event

FAQs about our paint & play party packages

  • Our cafe can comfortably accomodate up to 20 people. For larger parties that require more space, we'd host it at our partner restaurant. Our partner restaurants include Old School Pizzas Thornbury, and La Porchetta Reservoir.

  • If you have a small party of 10-12 people and don't require extra seating, you can opt to book a regular Dine & Paint session. We have a booth seating area that can comfortably fit 12 kids or adults.

  • Yes, you can organise your own cake, and store in our fridge during the party. Cakes are usually served at the end of the painting session, and will incur a cakeage of $15 per cake for party of more than 10 people.

    Did you know? We have a partnership with a local bakery - Sutsa Cake Bar & Studio who can help create beautiful and delicious birthday cake for your party. Let us know your preference and we can help arrange it for you. However you are welcomed to reach out to Amanda from Sutsa directly and she will look after you.

  • We don't make traditional birthday cake, but birthday souffle pancakes. If you're after a traditional cake, we'd recommend bringing your own cake, or order from our partner bakery Sutsa Cake Bar & Studio.

    If you'd prefer to have our souffle pancakes (they are absolutely delicious!), each person can get their own serve of our famous Japanese souffle pancakes. For the birthday person, there will be special decorations on the souffle pancakes such as sprinkles and candle.

  • Yes, early arrival can be arranged so that you can bring your own decorations. We also can pre-decorate the store ahead of our arrival using our own decorations that matches your chosen theme, such as Sanrio, Pokemon, Stitch, Superheros or Unicorn.

  • Our Paint & Play Party often go for 2-2.5 hours. You are welcome to extend it to 3 hours or longer, simply order extra food and drinks or merchandise from us.

  • A drink is inclusive in a painting package; therefore you wouldn't need to bring beverages. Free water is also provided.

    External food and drinks are not allowed unless you order food from our partner restaurants. This is due to food safety. Our partner restaurants include Old School Pizzas Thornbury, and La Porchetta Reservoir.

    We can assist you with placing an order from these restaurant once we know your budget.

  • Yes, we are a full licensed venue. Cocktails, beer and wine are available for sale.

  • Once your statues are dried/semi-dried, a glossy varnish can be put on using a regular paint brush. It is often done at the end of the painting session. We can assist you with putting it on. We use environmentally friendly liquid varnish, and it's super easy to put on.

  • A take-home bag (or box) will be provided to place your statue in!

    If you couldn't take it home straight away, you are welcome to leave it with us, and pick it up within 7 days at no additional cost.

  • We have a variety of party/finger food options include:

    • Home made spring rolls

    • Toasties, wraps or bacon & egg rolls

    • Pastries like croissants, danishes and banana bread.

    • Hot Pizzas from our next door neighbour Old School Pizzas

  • Depending of the time of the day of the booking, parents can stick around if the space permits. They will need to order a drink each from our menu.
